Dr Matthias Newzella
Managing Partner
Dr Matthias Newzella is managing director of our company and is primarily responsible for M&A and licensing projects. He has been running our executive search division since 01 January 2017, working together with our national and international clients.
He grew up in Germany and Indonesia and studied medicine at the University of Budapest, University of Jena and the University of Medicine in Vienna where he qualified to become a doctor.
He joined Dr. Newzella Consulting in 2013 where he was initially responsible for managing projects involving product & licensing, product evaluations and market research as well as for compiling medical and scientific studies on behalf of the company's pharmaceutical clients.
Over the last few years, he has specialised in advising German and European pharmaceutical firms – the majority of which are family owned – on whether it may make good strategic sense to sell products or even the whole business. He has become a valued partner and consultant in this field and has successfully completed many different projects.
