Dr Andreas Newzella grew up in Austria, Germany and Indonesia. He studied Economics at Münster University, majoring in the subjects of marketing and trade. He took part in a further training course in Cologne to qualify as a pharmaceutical sales representative in 1994 and wrote his dissertation on the generics market in 1996. Having been awarded his degree, Dr Newzella then went on to do a PhD course at the Department of Trade & Marketing at the University of Vienna between 1999 and 2001, writing his thesis on the pharmaceutical wholesale trade and pharmacies. Furthermore, he is a member of the personnel management committee of the BDU (Federal Association of German Management Consultants) based in Bonn.
Dr Andreas Newzella has been recovering from a serious illness since December 2016 and has stepped back from his duties as managing director of the company until further notice. Dr Matthias Newzella is carrying out his tasks in his absence. Our family, the whole team and many of our loyal customers wish him a speedy recovery.
