About the company:

Our client is a high growth patient-oriented medium-sized French company with a Pan-European Specialty Pharma platform focused on branded hospital medicines addressing critical medical needs. Thereby, a special focus is placed on the acquisition and remarketing of medicines in major therapeutic areas, such as Infectiology, CNS and Onco-hematology / Intensive Care and developing a new business in rare diseases. The company is privately-owned and is, after years of successful growth, seeking to establish its business in Germany.

Country Commercial Lead (m/f/x)


Your tasks:

  • The establishment of a new activity in Germany with a consulting contract in the first 6 months afterwards a permanent contract
  • Initiation and implementation of strategic decisions to build up and successively grow the position and presence in the German pharmaceutical market towards launch of new products.
  • Operational responsibility and alignment of the organizational units against the backdrop of the market complexity of the German healthcare sector
  • To implement the launch of new products in hematology field & rare disease in cooperation with HQ
  • Coordinate market access, relationship& price negotiation with health authorities, KOLs management, external MSLs activity
  • Point of contact and follow-up of local partner(s) for mature products sold in Germany


Our expectations:

  • A university degree in a scientific or economic field
  • Successful management experience in a pharmaceutical company / pharmaceutical site
  • Several years of professional experience in a leading position in marketing & sales, business development and/or in the commercial/financial area in a company of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Significant experience in the German pharmaceutical industry and considerable knowledge of the local healthcare sector
  • Experience in taking over budget and P&L responsibility
  • Experience in KOL management and pricing negotiation with existing personal network towards Health Authorities
  • Experience in Hematology field
  • Goal-, solution- and result-oriented thinking and acting
  • Enthusiasm and assertiveness, negotiation skills, decision-making confidence
  • Leadership strength, team orientation and willingness to engage in dialog, inter-cultural competence
  • Strong motivation to lead the development of activities within a medium-sized pharmaceutical company
  • Knowledge about in the therapeutic area of hematology and about the hospital market
  • Business fluent in English, written and spoken
