Our client is a family-owned healthcare company with a history stretching back more than 30 years. It markets over 200 products (Rx, OTC, medical devices, cosmetics and food supplements) and operates in over 30 markets around the world. Our client is looking to set up its first subsidiary in Western Europe, which will be based in the area of Munich, Germany. Senior Product Manager (m/f/x)

with the following profile:

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • To develop the business’ marketing mix and tools as well as its demand generation, go-to-market & communications strategies; to supervise the promotional pressure approach for a breakthrough, best-in-market Rx product in a dynamic company where marketing plays a central role
  • To draw up marketing plans, budgets and forecasting and ensure they are implemented within budget and ROI frames
  • To develop fieldwork communications to provide the field teams with content (a continuous storytelling approach)
  • To collaborate with internal & external partners to develop communication & demand generation assets
  • To develop & execute campaigns using state-of-the-art tools
  • To drive public relations using a balanced approach
  • To produce marketing materials that support the qualification of leads in close cooperation with field teams
  • To constantly fine-tune messaging & the value proposition to tailor them to target audiences/customer groups
  • To drive the generation of strong & differentiating content marketing and project thought leadership in the field
  • To build up and enhance the website & social media sites for optimal demand generation & conversion
  • To prepare and execute attendance at events as well as to develop an efficient sponsoring strategy
  • To set up KPIs & constantly measure these across all marketing channels (events, web, social media)
  • To establish and maintain customer contacts, especially with important decision-makers and indication experts in close cooperation with internal commercial departments
  • To collaborate closely with the head office’s international team
  • Reporting line: General Manager

 

Requirements:

  • A university degree in natural sciences, pharmacy, medicine or another scientific field
  • A strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Highly motivated to bring excellent products to patients to improve their health
  • Min. 3 years’ experience of working in marketing in the healthcare industry, ideally a family-run business (big pharma / freelancing also possible)
  • Experience of marketing Rx products is a must; experience of OTC and medical devices an advantage
  • Experience of working as a pharmaceutical representative an advantage
  • Ability to work in a reliable, precise and independent manner
  • Strong communication skills; ability to think and act in a target, solution and results-oriented manner
  • Ability to collaborate closely with other departments
  • Fluent in (business) English
  • Proficient in all standard IT programs
